RECLAIMED - The Ashes, in emphatic fashion after a 15-month sojourn in England.

ABANDONED - The ABC's Brisbane studios, after a report failed to find the cause of
an increased spate of breast cancer cases among ABC staff.

CONDEMNED - The ACT government and emergency services for failing to prevent the devastation
of the 2003 Canberra bushfire.

OVERTURNED - Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir's terror conviction for involvement in
the 2002 Bali bombings, which killed 88 Australians.
